Hello Internet, Been working on a whole bunch of behind the scenes things this past week, however, today's update is going to mostly focus on the updated version of "Lavender Chase" I've released today. It has some significant changes done to it with 3,000 words of exposition reduced and replace with two Chat-Tap stories. To those of you not familiar with those kind of stories, they look like a normal text conversation. Two new characters have been added to this story: Envoy Darius and Envoy Tracy, and in those conversations, you'll get to know exactly who they are quickly. I've also re-written large swathes of text so that the story is a bit tighter, however, at the moment, I've run out of time to spend my focus on this now, so this is more of a soft launch to this updated story. I'll come back to finish re-writing it after Butterfly kisses is in order. Story Info Certain sound effects, like the binaural beats of the Lavender Town music, can affect certain individuals susceptible to mental illnesses, such as depression. Some call this phenomena LTS – Lavender Town Syndrome. It would be a shame if an incubus lured you into an abandoned mental asylum at night just to exploit your mind’s weaknesses… //// ------Synopsis------ //// After 13 years of hibernation, the alien parasite known as Alexander has reawakened. The last time it was awake, it was hellbent on replacing every human being with a parasite to become them. Now, it seems like it’s ready to restart its sadistic, reign of terror with its newly transformed, beautifully sculpted and modified, human hosts (Alexander likes to call them an incubus or a succubus, for it sees itself very much like a demon). The alien decides to play a game with the human heroes: Save the woman in its grasp before it devours her alive! The Department of Defense’s leader, the Guardian Knight, wastes no time. She rushes into the abandoned mental health facility where Alexander is holding the civilian to rescue her. Meanwhile, the parasite watches her, smirking. “Oh, the fun I could have with my little hero.” In this soft sci-fi/horror short story, author Roxioxx takes an uncommon approach by telling the tale from the incubus’s point of view. The two sides are so equally mysterious and matched, it’s impossible to predict who will come out on top—the incubus or the hero. Find out what happens next by buying the book now. //// ------Basic Story Info------ //// Genre: Soft, Sci-Fi; Dark Fiction Age Rating: Young Adult to Adult Fiction Second edition released: January 2019 End of this Blog Post Yep, that's how I'm gonna end it. Talk to you later,

Here's a preview of the entire set.
Hello Internet! It is with great joy that I bring to you the second edition of my short story, “Pink Chase.” It has 50 percent more content (going from around 7,000 words to over 15,500 words, plus 3 more illustrations). After writing 9 short stories and 70,000 words for an unfinished novel, the story I present to you today is way more fleshed out and better written than anything before. Here’s some promotional pictures for you from the short story. If you’re interested in soft sci-fi and darker stories, "Pink Chase" might be just for you. Synopsis After years of hibernating, Alexander, an alien parasite that takes over and alters humans, is awake and walking around with its new host, Xana, a human transformed into a succubus. It wants to live and thrive, but the Department of Defense is out to eradicate it, especially the ever-principled Guardian Knight. This human is not to be underestimated since their predecessor destroyed it years ago. Thus, the alien decides to stalk the weakest member of the DoD, Fred. Genre: Soft, Sci-Fi; Dark Fiction; elements of horror Age Rating: Older Teen to Adult Fiction Price For those of you following the blog or even my twitter (@RoxioxxStudios), you’ll notice I gave a heads up that the awesome $.99 deal for the story was there for a limited time. The price of this short story is now… a whopping… super reasonable… amount… of… $2 (It’s really not that bad). Yeah, getting a story reviewed by a professional editor a third time takes some money, but the investment is so worth it. Now you get a better quality story. Next Steps Well, I still have a number of things going on in the background. That includes writing up the entire arc for Butterfly Kisses, two secret projects, and the slow progress of “Red Chase.” However, “Lavender Chase” (another short story of mine) is getting a quick update. The same one I gave to “Pink Chase.” That might be coming up next, but we’ll see. Having 5 projects in the active column does mean I have less certainty when anything publishes.
That's all for now. Bye! ~Rox Hello Internet! With warm wishes, I would like to introduce to you the latest project to come out of the Studio: "Rose Festival" the anime-theme, rose garden board game. It has all the mechanics I've wanted to put in there finally. Feel free to comment on this blog or reach out to me on twitter for any ideas/feedback. I just want to give a quick shout out to all of you who have been following along with the developments of this game. Thanks for your patience. Now, you can finally see what it's all about. Bye! ~Rox Brr! It is cold outside where I live and I think there is a draft in my room. Let's get to some updates. Today I was hit with the realization that I might be getting a full time job soon. What this means is I can no longer spend my time on whatever I want. So this mysterious writing project I was working on, I'm just going to have to get over having it sit in the back. It was actually "Red Chase" version 2, and this story was going to be a fully fleshed out novel. I've written near 70,000 words of it, but from my estimation, it's only 60% done (and that's only the first draft). I'm super happy I was able to work on it as much as I could. It had a lot of fun stories and was a huge step up for me in gaining experience as a writer. Every thing I make after this is going to tell a much better story. I'll still be working on it in the background, but I don't expect the first draft to be done until April. That brings into question: what's the next project? Well, "Pink Chase" version 2 is going to be released in this month. It's price is going to go up to $1.99. If you want to get it at a discount, you should get it before next week. Here's the link. I've got to get around to just redoing this one part of Rose Festival before I can release it to the public. It won't take long. I just have to do it.
But my number one priority right now is getting Butterfly Kisses up and going. I'm pretty confident with the scripts. I've got some ideas on how to get it out quicker and not be hampered by the file size restrictions. Well, that's all. Night, ~Rox
Hello Internet, A Joyous New Year to you all! Hope your holidays were at least chill. I had a good vacation at this undisclosed location doing [REDACTED] things. Butterfly Kisses Over my vacation, I let the story sit so I could go back and review it. You know, make sure the story makes sense and all the potential has been displayed. I'm gonna need to revise the script before I go into the story boarding phase. I also updated my 3D models, color pallets, and concept art pages. I think I should be good now for a speedy execution. I'll be rendering out the bulk of Alexander's costume through my 3D program while the rest of it will be done traditionally. I'll also keep the colors minimum, so that I can publish quicker (like 12 colors in my color pallet). There is an arc coming up after this first introduction arc where the new father and daughter spend time creating a small dream catcher. So, I had to create some concept art. I have 4 remaining dream catchers left now. Check out my etsy store if you want some exclusive concept art for the series. Chase Short Stories The majority of this week has been spent on updated "Pink Chase" with more content and more illustrations. It will grow by 50%. I will also raise the price to $1.99, so I would suggest that you all grab a copy before I raise the price with the new release.
