Alexander is an alien parasite that feeds on large organisms, such as humans. When he is given the chance to adopt the only human who has ever shown him genuine compassion, he doesn't hesitate. However, being the world-weary orphan that she is, she doesn't trust he'll stay. Alexander laughs and proceeds to prove her wrong each episode.

Thus, begins the heartwarming tale of a sadistic, alien parasite father and his newly adopted, timeworn, human daughter.

"Butterfly Kisses" has been a manga series I've been trying to release for over a year. After a ton of struggling and growth, I'm proud to release something that truly captures the characters and is of professional quality. I hope you will enjoy this story as I've poured my entire heart into it.

Characters

Alexander

Alexander is an alien parasite that burrowed deep inside a human's body and now takes over this man's life after absorbing his memories. It even took on this human's name, too. This creature is incredibly sadistic and loves to play around with its natural prey - humans. It does have a soft side, and when no other options were available, it decides to take care of its long-time, best friend, who turns out to be an orphaned kiddo.

Kiddo

This little girl is an orphan. She's been taking care of herself for a few years until her disguise is blown. She refuses to say what her name is, but we do know she is resilient, resourceful, steadfast, and firmly independent. She is adopted by Alexander though not willingly. Not because she's afraid of alien parasites, but rather, its more fun to be free and starving than to be dependent and full.

"Boss"

He's the head of the Secure Government Containment Facility's west wing at Site 42. Grumpy, intelligent, and succinct, the Boss is in charge of Alexander's holding unit, and supervising the rest of the cast. He is Faith's husband.

Valens

This 50-year-old man is the leader of the Alpha Team for Site 42. This team focuses on capturing or destroying anomalies, such as Alexander. Valens is a down to earth moron with conservatives values. He wields dual android katanas.

Fabian

99% of the population spends less time on their hair than this guy does. He is Alpha team's helicopter pilot and gunslinger. He's lazy, narcissistic, and irresponsible (although, he's married with 5 kids). If he weren't talented, he'd be fired.

Enrique

Enrique is a naturalized citizen who moved here from Mexico. He laughs a lot and always cracks jokes even though his coworkers have called ICE on him. He's alpha team's detonation expert and hacker.

Faith

Faith is the newest addition to the Alpha Team after Alexander was taken over. She's caring, warm, and has a Ph.d. in cryptozoology. Faith specializes in inventing on the fly gadgets and hand to hand combat.
